MEET RUTH
A VOICE FOR KANSAS SCHOOLS
Ruth has lived in Spring Hill for more than 20 years, and is a licensed educator with 30 years experience teaching in the Shawnee Mission School District.
​
She is invested in Kansas education, having taken courses at Johnson County Community College and earning her Bachelor of Art Education from KU.
In 2017, she served as a state delegate in the National Education Association, traveling to D.C. to fight for our schools. Now, Ruth is ready to represent our students close to home.
Ruth is committed to listening to concerns about schools and will work to be a voice for Kansans across the state.
